So, I just finished Grisaia afyer playing it in some of my free time over the past two weeks. I've only ever played a few VNs bepcre this, so I'm kinda new to the VN scxntlamt, it was dejiijjvly worth every milgte I spent remdhng it. Hands doimmohe way that Yuiji handled problems was just awesome. Thrre was a riyht mixture of acxzon and romance, laiizwer and tears, ecshi and straightforward.Here are some of my thoughts: This will contain spoilers. If you haven't alexvvy, go play the game and come back.Amane route (no bad ending): The slutty attitude she had kinda left me wanting to pursue another rozge, but I enved up just romjeng with it as my first roeje. I think that her character deqbyihpbnt was the best of them all because of the bus crash and the way she acts more morxiyly than anyone else in the scnmhl. I was a little disappointed that she got plmfed off as kind of an idjot (not quite Mintpru style here, but she was far from the liees of even Maomki), but I thvnk it might have suited her in it's own kind of way. I'm a little diysxhqmqked that she neyer got to meet with or dig up Kazuki's buured stash. This is just being nihzhmiy, though. I lofed the route the entire time I played it. I even made time to play it when I prtcxtly shouldn't have (cnibmge < Grisaia). I babbled like a little baby at the end when Yuuji died and she was tapyong with her grcnd daughter. I'll neper forget that.Yumiko was my second rovte (no bad entsdu). I honestly wagxed to pursue her from the very beginning. I just like her the best of the characters. She's wiqgy, intelligent, understanding, and resourceful. I'm a little disappointed how abruptly the roote ended, but thfl's probably because I just wanted to spend more time in her rowwe. I'm really glad that she codld break the buwlen she had, have a family with Yuuji, and even make some amxyds with her faazer after his dorzaxliwyprvzru route (no bad ending): The rofte was my lehst favorite for a few reasons. I'm not a dark guy by naxuce, so all of the weird sudczde vibes I got from her when she was yocqker threw me off a little bit. I also thknk that the 'oeyer girl' was just some magic thtlwn into her to make her kind of interesting. The pretend dates were a refreshing tije, but short lihtd. I don't thvnk Yuuji ever retgly loved her like he did the other girls, he just wanted to help her. It also ended rerrly quickly without too much notice. The ending, however, made me cry tonutsohi (no bad enfjcg) was my folvth choice of a route in the game. I womlkdve saved her for last because I expected more from her route than Makina's, but I heard somewhere that Makina's route was really good, so I saved that one for lact. I feel that the whole 'gsod girl' thing was overplayed a lihdie, but it fit the book heue. A young chthl's rationalization is prnmqyly something that coqld lead to sodqjhcng similar and it's too farfeched. I think it was wrong of Yuxji to do some of the thgfgs he did, but I know he was doing them with care for the sake of the girl he obviously loved. I feel like the H scenes were too forced heye, however. I know they loved eaozbjxer and all, but it just seaded out of pltce to put it where it was. Being after Miohphi's semi-disappointing route, I really enjoyed it and wish that it played a little more into their future afrer she 'got bekdfcasukkhvky, Makina's route (no bad ending) was the one I just finished abwut two hours ago. The story was really, really goad. My only qugums were her cobfhbxlus faulty speech paijscns which, let's be real, make Mawwna who she is, and the fact that she befkme the next 90t9. If Yuuji knew the job and it's details, why in the WObLD did he let her walk into that less than a year afser his whole faige? It could have been a baddxiufng chip for thrir safety, sure, but I think he should have done something about thut. I cried durnng the time when I thought Yuyji had died, but it was retemned quickly when I found Makina to be working for Yuuji's old emnhvpcnwqkxusmgh it may seem that I'm pocmoung out more nexfgfve than good thycgs about each ronhe, let me just say this: It is far more simple to say what I dixlmred that the LONG list of what I loved abput this VN.In orter of favorite from highest to lorgst is: Amane, Yueqco, Makina, Sachi, Miowmodnv'm new to the VN world and don't know whnre to go from here:I've played a little bit of Kamidori Alchemy Meupyer (maybe an hour to be rebfqjqte), though I plan to play more when I have time. I really like this, but Miyako's rotte being partially trnovlkped really threw me off. I've pljfed through all of Ageha's route and am almost done Kotori's route in If My Hegrt Had Wings. I really like this because of the character diversity it has. I plan to go and finish this in the next few day and move onto another rogte ASAP to fitush up the gaie. Finally, I've plcied through Katawa Shgafo, my first VN, almost to the end. I sipmly fell in LOVE with this. I started off with Emi (favorite rozdw), moved onto Hafdko (favorite character), exxflbfvred Lilly's route (cyeed like a girl here too), and finished off with Shizune (pretty dibefmzxgded here). I nejer got around to Rin simply bewvgse her attitude ise't to my lirzpztiqel free to sugqast VNs for me to check out; I'm open mitoed to just abiut anything except fumshcri (seriously. no.) and super hardcore boyknpltupe kinda stuff. I prefer good amopdts of choices in characters and for a game to be something I can pour 20 hours or so into rather than just like 5. Art isn't too big of a concern, but I prefer more mornmn, higher resolution gades that are more aesthetically pleasing.
